This event has the enviable reputation of being one of the most talked about Golf Days on the Sunshine Coast. In 2023 we asserted our position on the corporate social calendar by changing our name to the 'Sunshine Coast Celebrity Golf Classic'.
Year after year this event delivers an incredible sporting star line-up, an entertainment spectacular and attracts the Sunshine Coast business market, enjoying a waitlist for tickets.
In 2024, the Sunshine Coast Celebrity Golf Classic is presented by Bank of Queensland Maroochydore and White House International, in support of SunnyKids and the Broncos Sunshine Coast Community Development Program.

In memory of Laurie Clarke
All of those that knew and loved Laurie Clarke knew his passion for golf, the Sunshine Coast and supporting charities that give children a better chance at life.
Laurie passed from cancer in 2017 and left a huge hole in the hearts of the Sunshine Coast and all those that knew him. As former owner of BOQ Maroochydore Laurie and his wife Debbie, brought the BOQ Maroochydore Celebrity Charity Golf Day to life in 2008 supporting many locally based children’s charities over the years. Since 2010, White House International partnered with Laurie and Debbie and together with Robert ‘Dipper’ DiPierdomenico, the trio made this a must attend golf day each year.
In 2023, and with the blessing of Debbie and family, current BOQ Maroochydore Owner Manager, Nicholas Barker, and White House International are honouring the memory of Laurie by recapturing the fun and memories of this golf day.
Each year the Sunshine Coast Celebrity Golf Classic will carry on the legacy that Laurie started by bringing together the Sunshine Coast business community to give kids the best chance at life.
